The Char Dham Yatra comprises Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri. The Char Dham trip usually starts from Haridwar and ends in Badrinath. Itinerary For Char Dham Yatra Package From Haridwar

Day 1 - Drive from Haridwar To Barkot

Start driving from Haridwar towards Barkot located at a height of 4,003 feet.
The total distance between Barkot and Haridwar is around 220 km.
It will take around 7 to 8 hours to complete this journey.

Day 2 - Barkot to Yamunotri Temple and Back

Today we will drive from Barkot to Janki Chatti, at an elevation of 8 694 feet.
Janki Chatti is famous for being the starting point of the trek to Yamunotri Temple.
The total drive distance between Barkot and Janki Chatti is around 36 to 40 kilometers which takes almost 1.5 hours to reach.
Our trek to Yamunotri Temple will start from Janki Chatti and will cover a distance of 6 km.
Trek duration for both ways will be 5 to 6 hours and after visiting the Yamunotri Temple, we will head back to Barkot.

Day 3 - Drive from Barkot to Uttarkashi

Today we will drive from Barkot to Uttarkashi, at a height of 3,799 feet.
The distance between Barkot and Uttarkashi is almost 85 km and it will take around 4 hours.

Day 4 - Drive from Uttarkashi to Gangotri and Back

Today’s journey includes a drive from Uttarkashi to Gangotri and back to Uttarkashi.
The distance between Gangotri and Uttarkashi is around 100 kilometers on one side.
This one-way journey to Gangotri located at 10,200 feet in height will take around 3 to 4 hours.

Day 5 - Drive From Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

Located around 200 km from Uttarkashi, Guptkashi is the next stop on our Char Dham Yatra.
We will drive around 8 to 9 hours to reach Guptkashi, at a height of 4,327 feet.

Day 6 - Drive from Guptkashi to Kedarnath

This day on our Char Dham Yatra involves a drive to Gaurikund and a trek to Kedarnath temples.
Firstly, we will drive to the starting point of Kedarnath Trek, Gaurikund, located around 35 km away from Guptkashi.
From Gaurikund, we will embark on the Kedarnath Trek, which involves walking for 16 km to reach the temple at 11,755 feet in height.
This 16 km trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath will take 6 to 7 hours.

Day 7 - Journey from Kedarnath Temple to Guptkashi

Today we will trek back to Gaurikund from Kedarnath covering the same 16 km distance in around 6 to 7 hours.
Upon reaching Gaurikund, we will head towards Guptkashi, located at a 35 km distance.

Day 8 - Journey from Guptkashi to Joshimath/Badrinath

Today’s Drive includes reaching Badrinath from Guptkashi via Joshimath.
The total distance we will cover on today’s journey is around 190 km and will take almost 8 to 9 hours.
Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Badrinath is one of the holy shrines at 10,827 feet.

Day 9 - Drive From Badrinath to Rudraprayag Via Joshimath

Spend your time at the Badrinath Temple, attend the morning prayers, and seek blessings from lord Vishnu.
After this, we will leave for Rudraprayag from Badrinath via Joshimath.
Rudraprayag is located at 2,936 feet and the distance between both places is 160 km.
This will be a 7 to 8 hours long journey.

Day 10 - Drive From Rudraprayag to Haridwar

Here come to the end of our Char Dham Yatra and today we will head back to Haridwar from Rudraprayag.
The distance between Haridwar and Rudraprayag is around 160 km and it will be a 5 to 6 km hours long drive.
Reach Haridwar and head back to your home.

Which time is best for Char Dham yatra?

The summer season, i.e., from April to June, is considered the best time to do the Char Dham yatra. These months are the best time to visit the Kedarnath and Badrinath temples. However, Gangotri and Yamunotri are at higher altitudes, so summer starts later by the end of April.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
In the special cases of slots not being available, feasible alternatives will be provided to the customer, in regards to the customer’s preference. In such cases, a new voucher would be sent via email, consisting of the new travel details.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation made 60 days prior to the date of departure, would levy 20% of the total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Any cancellation made 30 days prior to the date of departure, would levy 30% of the total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Any cancellation made 15-30 days prior to the date of departure, would levy 50% of the total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Any cancellation made 0-15 days prior to the date of departure, would levy 100% of the total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be canceled.
