We were recommended Dandeli Jungle Camp by a friend. Based on this, we booked our stay. As Birding enthusiasts, we were looking forward to some major sightings and had requested the resort for a good guide.

We have been to many resorts, but we loved the proximity to mother nature at Dandeli Jungle Camp. The resort reminds us of our village homes and is a treat for all who love weekend outings. The rooms are fairly basic but very functional & clean. We loved the services. Very friendly!!

One of the best places to stay around Dandeli. This place is just a few km away from the Jungle safari gate. The food is top-notch, especially the non-veg served at night. The owner of the place - is one of the humblest people (resort owners) I've met. Do not expect a cozy and comforting stay similar to a 3-5 star hotel.

First of all, the people at Dandeli Jungle camp were too good and served all our needs without a single no ! 14 of us went together and we were given 7 rooms which were clean and maintained well. Food was also good and there was no hurdle to travel from camp to the activities area. All were very friendly and flexible enough to adapt to our plans and needs

I had a few days free so was searching for a nearby getaway and opted for Dandeli as it has everything that it had to offer. Make sure you plan for the best time to visit. Having heard a lot about the magnificent Kali river rafting, I was thrilled to get my share of experience.

It is in the jungle with excellent service and the food rooms are also good to feel homely atomsherjugle resort is about 12 km away from Dandeli pick up facility is also provided surrounding sightseeing facilities like boating jungle walk sinter rock etc are worth visiting apart from Ul I temple.

We were 4 adults and two kids in the family, visited Dandeli this summer, and stayed at DJC for 3 days. We are avid birdwatchers and therefore the location offered a nourishing atmosphere for us. Besides, Ganeshgudi, which is in proximity offered bird haven and the DJC offered us transport and arranged for a knowledgeable naturist, Mruthyunjayya, and a coracle ride in the river Kali, at a reasonable price.

The hotel is quite close to the jungle. Free pickup and drop-off from Dandeli Town are provided by the hotel. The rates are quite nominal. The resort could have been in good condition earlier, but now is in a state of disrepair. The lower level staff are courteous and prompt. Adventure tours - Rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, jungle safari, etc can be booked through the resort. The rooms are quite small and not maintained well.

This place is economical compared to other resorts. They have basic facilities but the service is good. The location is not close to the river but no worries as they will take care of your travel for rafting. The evening barbecue was excellent and we liked it overall.
