The Andaman Nicobar islands are home to crystal clear, sparkling water, sprawling, lux beach resorts, tall and expansive palm tree grooves, rich history, and some truly delicious cuisine. The Andaman Nicobar belt has always been a favourite getaway destination, boasting of novel experiences that aren’t easily available anywhere else - like scuba diving, and an array of cruises to laze around on, and islands to explore. Known for its cosy, toasty sandy beaches and clear blue water, and the kind of weather you’d kill for! Andaman and Nicobar are known for humid, yet pleasant weather, with moderate to heavy rainfall in May to mid-September, and November to mid-December.
The Andaman Honeymoon Tour Package is a 6 day, 5 night special tour that takes you to some of the most famous spots along the Andaman Nicobar belt. With romantic candlelit dinners, premium class ferry rides to some truly breathtaking islands, and the guarantee of comfortable AC accommodations in wonderful hotels, our Andaman Honeymoon Tour is sure to add another element of fun and spice to your honeymoon!
The tour begins at Port Blair, where you will meet our guide and be escorted to your AC room in the hotel where you will stay. After freshening up, unwinding for a bit and grabbing some lunch at the hotel, you’ll head to the first attraction from the tour package - Cellular Jail. Known also as Kala Pani, Cellular Jail - constructed during the British Raj in India - was used particularly to house political prisoners during the Indian struggle for Independence. Kala Pani, or the Cellular Jail was constructed with 7 wings, modelled after Jeremy Bentham’s panopticon. It is now owned by the Government of India and recognised as a national memorial monument. Later on in the evening, you will also witness an incredible Light and Sound Show in Cellular Jail, depicting the lives of freedom fighters during British Raj in Andaman and Nicobar.
From the Cellular Jail, you’ll head to one of the finest beaches in Andaman and Nicobar - Corbyn’s Cove Beach, which is just 8 kilometers away from the heart of the city. Characterised by brilliant blue water, and fringed by lush, green palm trees, Corbyn’s Cove Beach is a great place to lounge in the rows of beach chairs available and have a lazy beach day. You can also find an array of interesting water sports such as jet skiing and scuba diving, at the edge of the shore.
The morning of the second day of the Andaman Honeymoon Tour starts off with some scrumptious breakfast at the hotel. From here, travellers will set off on a ferry/cruise to reach the famous Havelock Island. A part of Ritchie’s Archipelago in the Andaman Islands, Havelock Island is known for its diving sites and truly gorgeous beaches. The first beach you’ll see is beautiful, crescent-shaped Radhanagar Beach - one of the most famous beaches not only in Andaman and Nicobar, but in all of Asia itself. Radhanagar Beach is known as a popular spot predominantly for the vantage point of the sunset.
The next day, you’ll be heading to the next beach on the itinerary for this Andaman Honeymoon Tour - Elephant Beach. The gorgeous coral reef structure and the marine life, all coming together seamlessly to make up the comprehensive ecosystem of Elephant Beach, is truly something to awe at. Elephant Beach offers you the dichotomous opportunity to either go all out on adventurous water sports, chill out on the beach lounge chairs, or get the best of both worlds. All tired out from the day, travellers will then head back to their hotel resort to spend the night.
Our Andaman Honeymoon Tour then takes you from Havelock Island to Neil Island on the fourth day. Another breathtaking beach in Andaman and Nicobar, Neil Island - officially known as Shaheed Island - is home to amazing biodiversity, pristine white sand and glistening blue water. After checking into their hotels - included as part of this Andaman Honeymoon Tour, the travellers will head to Laxmanpur Beach. Laxmanpur Beach is another one of those places in the Andaman and Nicobar region that somehow looks best bathed in the waning light of the sun. Truly, the sunset you’ll witness here is like nothing you’ve ever seen before.
On the fifth day of the Andaman Honeymoon Tour, travellers will check out of their hotel resort after breakfast and will visit Natural Bridge Formation, locally known as Howrah Bridge. If you manage to visit this bridge during low tide, you will be able to see small sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and - if you’re lucky - even some colourful corals growing again. From Neil Island, you will then take a ferry back to Port Blair, and spend your last night in Andaman here.
This morning of the sixth day marks the end of the Andaman Honeymoon Tour. Although the tour ends here, we hope that the memories created over the last week or so will last you a lifetime.
