Tawang is no less than heaven. Tawang is situated in the western part of Arunachal Pradesh. It has an elevation of 3500 meters. This spot is one of the most wonderful spots present in the northeastern Himalayas. Tawang is home to the famous Tawang Monastery. The monastery is located between the Chinese and Bhutan border. The place has wonderful lakes and scenes surrounding it. Apart from the Monastery, the Tawang War Memorial, built in memory of soldiers who died during the Chinese hostility of 1962 is also present.
On the first day, arrive in Guwahati and get transferred to Kaziranga National Park. A tiger reserve and a UNESCO World Legacy Site. Check-in to the camp. Explore the monastery and visit the War Memorial and the Craft Center. On the fifth Day, head towards Bumla Pass. On the route visit Sangetsar Lake. Reach Bumla Pass, it lies on India and China’s border. Visit Penga Teng Tso lake. On the sixth day, Leave for Dirang. explore spiritualist Jung Falls on your way to the destination. Reach Dirang and visit Dirang Monastery. On the seventh day, Wake up early in the morning. Leave for Guwahati. reach Guwahati and check-in at the hotel. Have dinner & have some rest. On the eighth day, depart.
