Itinerary For Char Dham Yatra Tour Package By Road From Delhi

Day 1 - Reaching Haridwar from Delhi

Are you ready for the Char Dham Yatra with the Banbanjara? The journey will start in Delhi. Our representative will greet and assist you at the airport or railway station.
He will then drive you to Haridwar, where you will check in at the hotel and attend Ganga Aarti in the evening.
Today, we will stay overnight in Haridwar.

Day 2 - Reaching Barkot From Haridwar

Today, we will drive from Haridwar to Barkot, around 220 km away.
We will also come across many popular tourist places like Har ki Pauri Ghats, Mansa Devi Temple, DaksheswaraMahadev Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Mussoorie, and a few others during this journey. You can visit them on the return journey at your convenience.
It will take around 7 to 8 hours to reach Barkot, located at 4,003 feet in height.

Day 3 - Yamunotri Temple from Barkot and Back

Today, we will start our day with an early morning meal and drive to JankiChatti, the starting point of the trek to Yamunotri Temple.
Distance of Barkot from Janki Chatti is 36 Km long in which you will also come across Divyashila which is a sacred pillar.
This road journey will take around 1 to 1.5 hours.
The trek to Yumnotri starts from Janki Chatti. This 6 km, moderate-level trek involves steep sections and gradual ascents, increasing the excitement level of the trek.

As we approach the Yamunotri Temple we will see the sacred Kharsali hot springs. Before visiting the temple, you can bathe in the hot water spring.
Yamunotri Temple is located at 10,804 feet and it takes 5 to 6 hours (both ways) to complete the trek.
After this, we will head back to Barkot from Janki Chatti.

Day 4 - Reaching Uttarkashi from Barkot

Today, we will drive to Uttarkashi, setting our step for the next sacred place, Gangotri.
On the way to Uttarkashi, we will pass through several popular tourist spots including the Mukhba Village, Bhairav Ghati, Harshil Village, Apple Orchards, and Gangnani Hot Springs.
The distance between Barkot and Uttarkashi is around 85 km and the journey will take almost 4 hours.
Situated at 3,799 feet altitude, Uttarkashi is renowned for its peaceful atmosphere and historic temples, adding a unique charm to our spiritual Char Dham Yatra.

Day 5 - Reaching Gangotri Temple from Uttarkashi and Back

While driving through the curvy roads, we will see the Bhagirathi River and snow-topped mountains, making our journey feel like a dream.
After a 3-4 hours long one-way journey, covering 100 kilometers, we will reach Gangotri Temple situated at 10,200 feet.
Standing as the symbols of love and faith, the Gangotri Temple honors the holy goddess Ganga.

Day 6 - Journey to Guptkashi from Uttarkashi

The distance between Guptkashi and Uttarkashi is around 200 kilometres and it takes almost 8 to 9 hours to reach.
While driving, we will see evergreen woods and some small villages showcasing the lifestyle and customs of the people living there.
Situated at 4327 feet, Guptkashi is a sacred town, offering devotees a place to relax and get a good sleep before embarking on Kedarnath Trek.

Day 7 - Reaching Kedarnath from Guptkashi

Today’s journey involves driving from Gupkashi to Gaurikund, the starting point of Kedarnath Trek.
This journey from Gutpkashi to Gaurikund will take almost 1 to 2 hours to cover the 32 km distance.
The 16 km hike from Gaurikund to Kedarnath Temple can be challenging, but the natural beauty and your faith make the trek easier and lets you connect to the divine power.
A few popular tourist spots on the way are Gandhi Sarovar Lake and Bhairavnath Temple around 4 km from Gaurikund. Visiting the Kedarnath temples and attending evening aarti provides a strong connection with the supreme power.

Day 8 - Back to Guptkashi from Kedarnath

Our day will start with morning prayer at the Kedarnath temple.
Attend the Maha-Abhishek at 4 in the morning followed by a pooja at 6 in the morning.
After this, we will start the trek back to Gaurikund and head back to Guptkashi and an overnight stay, allowing you to rest and get a good sleep after the trek.

Day 9 - Reaching Badrinath from Guptkashi

Today, we will drive towards Badrinath from Guptkashi via Joshimath.
Joshimath is a town known for its natural charm and spiritual importance. This town is also famous for being a starting point for several trekking trails and sacred sites.
From Joshimath, we will head towards Badrinath. Nestled on the foothills of the Narayan and Nar mountain ranges, this town is famous for the Badrinath Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, at 10,827 feet.
This journey from Guptkashi to Badrinath via Joshimath involves driving for 190 kilometers in around 8 to 9 hours.

Day 10 - Reaching Rudraprayag from Badrinath

Here comes the last stage of our Char Dham Yatra visiting Badri Vishal Mandir, and attending early morning prayers.
Our Char Dham Yatra will be completed after this Arti Darshan.
On the same day, we will leave for Rudraprayag from Badrinath which is around 160 kilometers away, at 2,936 feet.
This journey from Badrinath to Rudraprayag will take around 7 to 8 hours.

Day 11 - Heading Back to Haridwar/Rishikesh

Today, we will drive towards Haridwar from Rudraprayag covering a distance of 160 km in around 5 to 6 hours.
Reach Haridwar and recall the memorable experiences on this spiritual journey.

Day 12 - Drive to Delhi from Haridwar/Rishikesh

We will provide Morning transfers from Haridwar/Rishikesh to Delhi Airport or Railway station and here comes the end of your Char Dham Yatra with Banbanjara.
