  • 04:00 AM: Reach Base Village (Patnus), Get freshened up and changed. 
  • 05:00 AM: Have Breakfast 
  • 06:00 AM: Drive to base Village (Bhira) - The start point of the Trek which is 10 mins journey from Patnus.
  • 06:30 AM: Start the trek towards Devkund Waterfall through a jungle trail with water streams and crossings.
  • 08:30 AM: Reach the waterfall, and capture the moment in your heart for a lifetime.
  • 10:30 AM: Start the return trek toward the base village (Bhira).
  • 01:00 PM: Reach the start point of the trek where our bus was parked.
  • Get onto the bus and leave towards our property at the base village for Lunch. It is a 30 mins drive.
  • 01:30 PM: Get changed and have delicious Lunch.
  • 03:00 PM: Start return journey to Mumbai.
  • 10:00 PM: Reach Mumbai. (Arrival Time is subjective to the Pace of the Group and Road Traffic

  • 08:30 AM: Reach the waterfall, Keep your bags Carefully at one common point as per the instructions given by Trekleaders and enjoy with a group 
  • 10:30 AM: Start the return trek toward the base village (Bhira).
  • 01:00 PM: As per the instructions given by Trek leaders, reach the start point of the trek where our Bus was Parked. Get onto the bus and Leave towards our Resort Property. base village and have Lunch.
  • 01:30 PM: Reach the Resort Property. Get freshen up and have Delicious Lunch.
  • 03:00 PM: Start return journey to Pune.
  • 08:00 PM: Reach Pune.

It's an easy beginner's trek, with magnificent sights and just heaven on the top. One should visit if they are in Maharashtra. Perfect location for a one-day trip. You can go by yourself, but I would suggest going with a group because it's super fun with them.

It is a treat to explore this area. We went when the monsoon was at its peak. It is 7km from one side to reach the main waterfall. You get to witness an amazing waterfall while crossing the river thrice, walking through woods, and climbing through some steep areas. It is in one experience!😇😇

What is the best time to visit Devkund Waterfall?

The best time to go on a trek to Devkund waterfall is winter season as there is no scarcity of water and there is pleasant weather to accompany you along the trek. The lush green forests are freshly rejuvenated by the monsoons that preceded and it makes it very picturesque that is hard to resist. Winters are also best if one wants to have amazing photographs of the place. The trek is closed from July to September due to heavy rainfall during monsoon and becomes very dangerous due to the presence of slippery rocks along the trek. 

How to reach Devkund waterfall?

Bhira is the base village for the trek to Devkund waterfall. It is located near Tamhini ghat which is 66 km away from Pune. Bhira is 26 km away from Pali village, which is also famous for Ballaleshwar temple and Pali can be reached via two ways by taking a bus from Panvel depot or one can also take a state-run bus from Vakan. However, packages include transportation from Dadar to the base village but if one wants to drive themselves, then it can be easily reached from Mumbai and Pune as well.

What is the trek distance and time?

The Devkund trek is relatively very easy and mostly consists of flat terrain with few short stretches of gradual ascent. You will come across slippery rocks through the trek with few easy to medium obstacles on the way. The total distance covered while trekking is 4.5 km and the total time of the actual trek is 1.5 hours each way, however, the packages for the trek offer the tour for one day including transportation from Dadar to Bhira and back as well.
