By Air: 

➔ To reach Nag Tibba Trek by air, you need to book a flight to Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

➔ From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a shared cab to reach Pantwari Village, which is approximately 85 kilometers away. Pantwari Village is the starting point of the Nag Tibba Trek. 

➔ The journey from the airport to Pantwari Village takes around 3-4 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions.

By Road: 

➔ To reach Nag Tibba Trek by road, you can start from Dehradun, Uttarakhand. From Dehradun, you can hire a taxi or take a public bus to reach Pantwari Village, which is the starting point of the trek. 

➔ The distance between Dehradun and Pantwari Village is approximately 85 kilometers, and the journey takes around 3-4 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions. 

➔ It is advisable to check the bus schedules and plan your journey accordingly.

By Train:

Itinerary For Nag Tibba Trek

Day 1 - Dehradun to Nag Tibba Base Camp via Patwari Village - Drive of 5-6 hours and trek of 4-5 km

Pantwari

Trek Distance: 4 kms | Duration: 3 - 4 hours | Elevation: 2786m

  • Take an AC bus from Delhi on Day 0 in the evening/night. (As per Variant)
  • 7:00 AM - Meet us at the Dehradun railway station! We’ll start with a drive to the Patwari Village. 
  • While Dehradun itself is one of the most beautiful hill stations of the country, during this drive you’ll come across splendid vistas of the Doon Valley and its sloping greens.
  • After comfortable halts and an enjoyable breakfast stop, reach Patwari village at around 12:00 noon. Here, you can offload any extra luggage and visit the washroom. You will get lunch packages for later consumption. From here you start the trek to the Nag Tibba Base camp.
  • The 4-5 km long trek to Nag Tibba is magnificent in the breathtaking vistas awaiting you. This trek is a steep incline in the beginning and gradually softens to a steady incline. While the physical activity is arduous, the mind is constantly at peace due to the serenity of the valley and the views.
  • Reach base camp at around 5 PM and enjoy some snacks with tea, while taking in the glorious sunset. At around 7 PM, a campfire will be organised, after which hot, delicious dinner will be served. 
  • 9:30 PM - Lights out!

Day 2 - From Nag Tibba to Dehradun via Patwari Village

Start the trek to Nag Tibba top

  • 4:30 AM - Wake up call! Starting the day early is essential since we must start with the trek to Nag Tibba top before starting our descent to Dehradun.
  • After a scrumptious breakfast, start the trek to Nag Tibba top, perched at an altitude of about 3,084 m.
  • 10:00 AM - Reach the top and enjoy the brilliant view of the mighty Himalayas. The top provides a breathtaking view of the Swarga-Rohini, the Bandar Poonch, the Kedarnath, and the Gangotri.
  • After enjoying the view to your heart’s content, start the descent to base camp, where a delicious lunch is awaiting you. 
  • After lunch, pack your belongings and start the descent to Patwari. After the trek, take a break at Patwari village before beginning the drive to Dehradun.
  • 8:30 PM - Reach Dehradun bus/railway station.
  • Take an AC bus from Dehradun to Delhi. This is where we depart ways! (As per Variant)

  • Pickup from Mussoorie for Nag Tibba Trek is weather dependent. In case of heavy snowfall, which results in the blockage of routes, a route via Vikas Nagar will be taken.
  • You may rent trekking gear in Pantwari, however, it is subject to availability. The guide will attempt to assist the participants in the purchase. However, trekkers are advised and free to engage with rental vendors on their own.
  • Rescheduling Policy - We charge 20% of the booking value if a participant wishes to change their dates.
  • Trekking to the summit is weather dependent, in case of failure to do so, a refund will not be applicable.
  • Fine may be incurred in case of poor waste management by government or forest officials.
