Best Time to Visit Leh Ladakh:

April to June and September to October is the best time to enjoy the exotic Leh Ladakh Tour. Weather conditions changed according to the month. At the start of April, snow started melting, so the market, guest houses, and hotels got ready to welcome the tourists. It is the starting time of the tourist season. Monuments are also open to visitors.

After June, at the start of the Monsoon, this area has heavy rainfall as a result of it, there are road blockages, and the condition of roads becomes worse for traveling, however, initially, Manali highway road remains in running condition along Rohtang pass. So the monsoon season is not the right time to travel because it is hazardous.

As the Monsoon ends, tourist activities start again with a clear sky and picturesque views. The second tourist season remains until October end after this extreme cold covers the whole area. When snowfall starts, life remains at a halt due to heavy snow and minus degree temperature where locals can only survive. It continues until the end of the march. Then again, the tourist season starts at the beginning of April month.

In terms of security and safety, Ladakh is a safe area. The condition is you both have to wear required riding gear during the ride and drive with precautions because no-body knows what may happen as the roads are a little bit risky due to the hilly area. It is advised that you, as a couple, can go on the ride but ride in a couples group, which will be the best option.
