Our Leh Ladakh bike trip with Turtuk was a very magical experience! The landscapes from the Sand Dunes of Nubra to barren mountains, were excellent. Turtuk added a unique cultural touch to the entire journey, the locals there were very well-spoken and friendly. Our driver cum guide was experienced and knowledgeable and took care of our safety.
I would like to appreciate the efforts of team Banbanjara in making our Leh Ladakh trip with Turtuk Village successful. We had an incredible time during the entire day trip. All the things were excellent be it stay, meals, transport, safety, or guides. The itinerary was well planned with all the prime attractions including an acclimatization day in Leh to help us to adapt to the higher elevation. However one needs to be prepared for a long drive and adjust to limited facilities in Leh’s remote area but all this is worth the beauty of Ladakh.
The trip was great for us, but we faced challenges due to altitude sickness during the initial stage of the trip it was manageable with the guide’s advice on acclimatization. Turtuk’s unique charm and friendly locals made the experience even more memorable. The monasteries in Leh added a spiritual touch to the entire journey and it was perfect. Pack wollen clothes because the temperature remains cool at higher elevations.
