View going to Lahaul is a must... as soon as you get out of the tunnel on the north side you are greeted with mesmerizing views of the snow-clad mountains... now, there are tours going to Baralacha pass which is almost 1/3rd of the way to Leh... stunning landscapes, snow-covered mountains, the valley is one of the most beautiful scenes you will ever see.
What to say about this magical land...I've been to Lahaul Valley in Monsoon & again in winter. Both are completely different seasons to experience the landscape here. Everything becomes completely white & so magical in winter that you feel you've landed in some different world. I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone who is visiting Manali.
There is so much to do in Lahaul. I started from Sissu- Keylong- Udaipur- Triloknath - Keylong. You’ll never forget the views you’ll pass through along your way in the entire journey. Untouched and raw I felt like I came in some imaginary land.
Lahaul from my college days but had to wait a long time to physically visit one. Waiting for so many years was worth it as nature gave me a chance to see another beautiful place on this planet .best time to visit is from June to September, best places to visit Udaipur are Trilokinath, Keylong, and trekkers and hikers can visit Neelakant.Warm clothes at all times and proper shades.
Lahaul valley is full of nature and natural things. This valley is famous for trekking. You gonna love this valley so much.
Lahul Valley boasts of picturesque mountain villages, flawless mountain rivers, and several Buddhist Monasteries. The scenic valley is formed by two rivers Chandra and Bhaga which originate from Baralacha massif situated in Lahul valley. Lahul is a treasure of lush green fields, tranquil lakes, snow-covered mountains, and mountain passes that make a paradise on earth for nature lovers. The Bara-shigri, Chota-shirt & Sonapani glaciers are located near Lahul.
Lahaul is blessed by nature and fostered by Chandra and Bhaga River. The valley is breath trekking valley.
lots of activities to do when you visit Lahaul. farming, tracking, off-roading, and paragliding. Don't forget to visit Pattan Valley .most beautiful valley of Lahaul. visit Lambhardar's lodge at Rapring near Jahalman offering the best stay inside orchards .make ur plan and fly.
This is a beautiful valley with the Chandra River flowing all through. But, the roads are very bad (non-existent) with rocks all around that would have come down with landslides.
Visited the Lahaul - Spiti valleys in the summer of last year. The valleys are amazingly beautiful and pristine. It's far less commercial then Leh- ladakh therefore we liked them better.. It's a definite must-visit.
