Most people who take a tour of Mumbai either go on the boats or ferries or go on a typical city tour, We wanted to do something different, and we were so lucky to find this experience in Banbanjara. Though it was a bit expensive, the quality of the helicopter and the pilot was top notch and we had such an amazing time! Not to mention the superb aerial views of the city of Mumbai!
The panoramic views of the Mumbai city and beaches and metropolitan areas were mesmerizing and lovely. The pilot was so friendly and let us enjoy the entire ride very peacefully with a lot of insights from his side. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and worth the money spent on it.

The best time to go on a trek to Devkund waterfall is winter season as there is no scarcity of water and there is pleasant weather to accompany you along the trek. The lush green forests are freshly rejuvenated by the monsoons that preceded and it makes it very picturesque that is hard to resist. Winters are also best if one wants to have amazing photographs of the place. The trek is closed from July to September due to heavy rainfall during monsoon and becomes very dangerous due to the presence of slippery rocks along the trek.
Bhira is the base village for the trek to Devkund waterfall. It is located near Tamhini ghat which is 66 km away from Pune. Bhira is 26 km away from Pali village, which is also famous for Ballaleshwar temple and Pali can be reached via two ways by taking a bus from Panvel depot or one can also take a state-run bus from Vakan. However, packages include transportation from Dadar to the base village but if one wants to drive themselves, then it can be easily reached from Mumbai and Pune as well.
The Devkund trek is relatively very easy and mostly consists of flat terrain with few short stretches of gradual ascent. You will come across slippery rocks through the trek with few easy to medium obstacles on the way. The total distance covered while trekking is 4.5 km and the total time of the actual trek is 1.5 hours each way, however, the packages for the trek offer the tour for one day including transportation from Dadar to Bhira and back as well.
