Local Villagers of the place consider the lake very sacred. The locals believe it is an auspicious lake and even worship the waters. It has a wonderful location. This is a beautiful trek for youngsters and other enthusiasts. The place is popular for its wildflowers, especially orchids growing in this region. It has an elevation of 3,500 meters. The lake is located at the foot of the Kalanag peak, around 14 km from Osla.
On the First day, reach Dehradun and start driving from Dehradun. Have breakfast on the route. Witness wonderful views of the serpentine river Tons and pass Purola. The last 22 km of the driving journey will take you through the Govind National Park. Reach Sankri at around 6 pm. On the second day, start the trek towards Seema. cross Siyan Gad by a bridge and reach Dhatmir village. pass the river on your right and have some stunning views of lush green vegetation and wild orchids. reach Seema and enjoy a night under the sky in the tents. On the third day, start the Trek toward Devsu Bugyal. This area is home to some of the Himalayan Birds, Animals, and flowers. Reach Devsu Bugyal campsite. On the fourth Day, Start the trek to the camp. After trekking for 5 – 6 hours, arrive at the Ruinsara Lake set campsite. On the fifth Day, spend the day at your leisure. On the sixth Day, start descending to Dev Thach. On the seventh day, start the trek to Taluka. Reach Taluka and get driven from Taluka to Sankri. On the eighth Day, prepare to leave. Have breakfast and check out from the hotel. travel back to Dehradun.

It is a high-altitude lake. It has fresh water, and the situated location is very beautiful. Lots of big mountains which are fully covered by snow. Must visit!!!!!!!!!
