Rupin Pass Trek Overview

The Rupin Pass Trek takes you to a height of 4610 m, deep in the Himalayas! The Rupin Pass boasts of being one of the most exciting and beautiful destinations for a trek. This trek is relatively difficult due to the long duration of the trek, as well as the fact that the distance covered during each day of the trek is relatively long and follows a steep gradient. The Rupin Pass Trek offers the trekkers the glory and pride of having completed it, along with a life-altering experience.

The best time to go for the Rupin Pass trek is during the summer months of May-June, or after the monsoon season in September. Even though you start the trek from the capital of Uttarakhand, halfway through the Rupin Pass Trek you cross over to Himachal Pradesh and end up in Shimla! The base camp for the trek is at Dhaula. The drive from Dehradun to the base camp itself is enough to bedazzle you. The trek has astonishing things to offer to its takers - including the breathtaking panoramic view of the snow-covered Himalayas and vast meadows covered in pristine white snow. The trek explores the forests of Rupin Pass and lets you uncover the rare alpine flora and fauna.

For the duration of this adventure, you will be staying in camps on a multiple-sharing basis. Experience campfires, stargazing, and curling up in a sleeping bag!

For this trek, you simply have to meet us at Shimla. You can also take a direct bus from Delhi, at your convenience.

The Rupin Pass trek is a really beautiful and wonderful trek. This was an amazing experience. Starting from Sewa, this trek route has to offer so many different landscapes that you'll always be surprised at the next turn. I loved it.

Mohit

Excellent

It is a hard trek, initially, there is a route as the days go by the trail disappears, and on the last days the view is so freaking amazing the mountains, the show, the forest, and the stars in the night sky were bliss you can actually see the Milky Way because of the remote location of the trek. The altitude will make you suffer a little but I would do this sane trek again for sure.

We went to Rupin Pass, a high-altitude trek through TTH (an agent). The trek goes through villages, forests, meadows, villages, and finally through a pass used by a shepherd. It does not require technical training but it is considered "difficult" for amateurs. This is one of the famous treks that can be done in the Himalayas.

We had been on the Rupin Pass trek in June with Banbanjara and the journey across the pass is one of the most beautiful I have ever had. We started from Dhaula in Uttarakhand and ended at Sangla in Himachal Pradesh. We were treated with unmatched beauty every day in the form of valleys, falls, cliffs, mountains, etc.
