Day 3 - Drive from Leh to Nubra, via the Khardung La Pass

  • Start the day early with a glorious sunrise and a delicious breakfast. We have an exciting day ahead, starting with the drive to Nubra along the Khardung La Pass which boasts of being the world’s highest motorable road!
  • During the drive through Khardung La Top, you will come across some of the most beautiful sights that the Earth has to offer, with the dazzling Nubra Valley and the snow-capped mountains framing it!
  • Upon reaching, have the unique experience of riding atop the exotic Bactrian Camel or the double-humped camel, found in the cold desert!  
  • We will be staying at Nubra for the night!

Day 4 - Drive from Nubra to Pangong

The Magnificent Chang La Pass

  • Wake up at the campsite to an enchanting Himalayan sunrise and a refreshing breakfast. Enjoy the views of Nubra Valley and its surroundings.
  • After this, we start on the route to the Pangong Tso, which takes you through the quaint villages Thiksey and Shey, via the Chemrey and Shakti Valleys. Revel in the peace and serenity permeating the air around the lake and explore the areas around it! 
  • After a while, we start on the ride through to the magnificent Chang La Pass, located at the height of 17,586 ft! The Pass is known to be relatively simple to navigate despite its high altitude.
  • Pangong Tso lake is a 134 km long lake which has the extension from India to China. The specialty of this lake is it changes the color according to the level of daylight; however, this is not a miracle. It is just due to reflection, which will leave you in awe. 
  • Afterward, we will make our way to the lakeside campsite, where we will be staying for the night. Spending a night at the campground will be one of the lifetime memorable experiences. Stargazing at the campsite with child winds will be another kind of experience.

Day 5 - Drive from Pangong to Leh

Pangong Tso is also known as the “Hollow Lake” due to its water which appears in different colours in sunlight. In winter, this lake gets frozen and becomes the venue for Ice Skating. 
Tso Moriri- Lake Moriri, also known as Tso Moriri comes in Changthang area, and is positioned at an elevation of 15,075 feet in Jammu and Kashmir. Tourists across the world pay a visit to this place for bird watching as it has 34 avifauna species.
Tso Kar- Tso Kar, also known as Tsho Kar’s western part is a salty lake, and the eastern part contains freshwater. It is placed in the southern Ladakh.
Miral Tso- Mirpal Tso lake is located close to Chul. This lake contains freshwater and is a beautiful place to visit. 
Chagar Tso- Chagar Tso is one of the most beautiful lakes in Ladakh. This lake is located on the way to Pangong Lake.

  • Please take care of your baggage. If possible, keep your backpack locked instead of blaming someone else for stealing your items.
  • Delays or changes in the schedule may occur due to weather conditions or any other such situation. Further, if there is heavy rainfall at the location of the camp, the tour leader may decide to lead the tour back to the previous point or any other point for the night camp.
  • Please treat the tour leader and the staff with respect!
  • Do not make fun of the local culture and traditions. Respect them.
  • Do not play loud music while trekking. Use your headphones instead. Many people go there to find peace, not to see your party-animal side.
  • The weather and temperature at high altitudes are incredibly different from that of the plains. Take an adequate amount of time to acclimatize yourself! And pack your clothes accordingly! 
  • Get yourself checked by a physician before undertaking this tour!
  • Follow your trek leader’s instructions. Do not wander off on your own. 
  • Do not harm animals and plants.
  • Do not throw your waste here and there. Keep the surroundings clean. Keep the trash in your bag and take it back with you.
  • Always carry minimum weight and travel light.
  • If you are suffering from any disease like asthma, diabetes, and heart-related problems, then do not undertake this adventure.
