I had an amazing experience in Spiti Valley with my family. He took us through various popular places in Himachal like Hatu temple Narkanda, Satluj river view, checkup, Kalpa, and some amazing views in different parts of Himachal when we reach Spiti Valley it was amazing throughout the journey there were hikkims world's highest post office and there was Chandra Tal lake and it was awesome experience on the way back we got chance to see atal tunnel and on the way back we visited manli too.
What a beauty -- the start of Chenab after the confluence of Chandra and Bhaga rivers near Tandi Bridge, Jispa, Baralacha -- Its all just wow. Darcha, Suraj Taal, Chandra Tal, Deepak Tal and the Baralacha Pass, Zingzingbar and Sarchu all will take your breadth away.
The mystagogic mountains and serene nature make you feel that you are in paradise. Autumn is the best time to visit Lahaul valley as it will be less crowded and peaceful.
Visited the Lahaul - Spiti valleys in the summer of last year. The valleys are amazingly beautiful and pristine. It's far less commercial than Leh- Ladakh therefore we liked them better.. It's a definite must-visit..
The valley is beautiful with a scenery unmatched by most places. However, close parallels can be drawn between Bhutan & Ladakh. The terrain is rugged & yet you get to see autumn hues & clear blue rivers. The roads are a driver's nightmare but that's what makes the valley more appealing & adventurous. On top of all this, when you get to know how the locals stay disconnected from the world for half a year, you realize the might that Nature has.
Lahaul-Spiti is a must-experience for all passionate travelers. All you see are mountains, mountains, and more mountains ...and rivers winding amidst them. The beauty is just all around, the rugged barrenness will surprise you at every turn.
we walked from Manali, on the way to Amarnath, via Kilar, Kirtshwar, and Pahalgam. We stopped at Udaipur (Himachal Pradesh) for one night. The locals allowed us to sleep in the Mrikula Mata temple. It was a marvelous, almost magical experience. The wooden sculptures seemed to be watching us as if they were alive. People were very kind to give us the privilege to sleep inside that fantastic masterpiece.
The natural scenery and Buddhist monasteries, such as Ki, Dhankar, Shashur, Guru Ghantal, Khungri Monastery in Pin Valley, Tnagyud Gompa of the Sakya Sect in Komic, Sherkhang Gompa in Lahlung (believed to be older than Tabo Monastery) and Chandrataal Lake are the main tourist attractions of the region.
Pretty amazing experience, the guide was skillful and friendly, the trek was easy and enjoyable, and the place is really beautiful.
Super amazing trekking experience, the trek was not that hard but yes it was tiring, However, we were glad that we had with us a professional and polite guide who was there all the time with the group, the place is mesmerizing, and the meals were good, Both picked-up and dropped-off were on-time and safe. This activity is really worth the money.
