It great place to visit, we visited in the month of July in the monsoon season How to reach - take the train from Ghatkopar to Karjat and from Karjat you will get an auto rickshaw which generally charges 150 per person one way .!! Trek is simple but with some tricky patches in between but the view is just awesome from the top, you will be in between the clouds .!!

Great trek. Best trek for the group. Difficulty level medium range to climb and too difficult to get down. I do not suggest anyone go to this fort due to the slippery way in the rainy season. There is only one way to climb and down with a steep slope. There are lots of risky patches. If u miss this do-or-die situation. Only 1.5 hrs trek. You can visit only on weekends.

I have to say, this trek isn't so easy. I had a great time climbing up that mountain and gazing at the beautiful view around. The sky was at its best that day✨ There is pretty much nothing on top of the mountain but once your eyes roll around, baby, you gonna fall in love with nature all over again. It was a beautiful day.

Sondai, located in Karjat denotes one of its most beautiful assets which is blessed with amazing scenic beauty. The location is famous for getting visitors spellbound with adventurous trekking experiences, especially during monsoons. On reaching the top, you get a mesmerizing view of the Matheran Mountain range which comprises green landscapes and a foggy pinnacle.

For beginners, this is the best one-day trek. During the monsoon, there are 2-3 patches which may be slightly risky. You can take sharing auto rikshaw from Karjat station and reach the base village, Sondewadi. There are no direct buses available. Food and water are available both at the base village and along the hiking trail. There is no entry fee but you need to pay the parking charges if you take your private vehicle.

Wonderful place to trek, especially in the monsoon! A relatively easy hill to climb, if you go in the nonmonsoon times. The rainy season gets it on a tougher level because of the puddles and slippery wet mud. But surely a fun experience! Bonus: Waterfall around as well!

Easy trick! You will really enjoy the track, and it's easy for beginners as well. You may reach here by auto from Karjat station. The path is slippery in some places. Watch your steps and go ahead. The view from the top is really good, Matheran hills on one side and Irshalagad fort on other side and the view towards the dam.

Sondai is an easy trek but only recommended in summer or post-monsoon. A big noooo to those people who are trying to visit this in monsoon. I went to this place and I have seen people slipping and falling off due to wet mud here. The trek is short but there are certain rock patches where there is nothing to grab on and you may end up falling which is too risky. Avoid weekends or try to visit early morning to avoid the crowd. Take Care :)

We have come across Banbanjara in our search for activities to be done at Goa and were taken by the offer for a photoshoot, we went with low expectations with a reasonable price. However, we are blown away by such an amazing experience, the photographer is really cool and accommodating, super professional, and handles his camera and us passionately.
