The extensive parking lot located in Bhira serves as the starting point for the trip, which is indicated by clear signs posted along the way indicating directions at reasonable intervals. In contrary to widespread beliefs, the likelihood of getting lost in the forest is minimal due to a well-traced path that surpasses the quality of trails in some popular trekking trails of Maharashtra.

The first thirty (30) minutes of the path lies on the western bank of Bhiri reservoir, providing a scenic backdrop. This is a good place for those who are considering spending a night because it acts as a campsite although one cannot sleep anywhere close to the falls. In addition, the beautiful scenery around the Reservoirs further adds to the attractiveness of the campsite.

From this point descending a little and we enter the banks of the reservoir then down the trail it goes deep into the trees below. The first half hour consists of walking across two dry streams at intervals of about twenty minutes. This area has a beautiful combination of open fields and wooded land.

This part of the route then rises for a while. While not being too high, the hill is very demanding in one’s energy. Here and there one finds tiny huts with their offer of tea, lemons plus a variety of snacks. The journey through the thick forest is quite risky with the branches around during this climb.

At the end of the climb, the trail goes into an area which is covered with stones. The impressive waterfall comes after a short walk of approximately 10 minutes through the rocks. A boundary bisects the pond, delineated by local markings. The first half of the split part allows swimming, and the bottom end of a place measuring about sixty feet deep, prohibits access because of it being close to touching the ground.
