  • Not only the valleys but also the thorong La pass and a dense forest covered with rhododendron, fern and bamboo. The thorong La is the highest peak here. You will be totally astonished by the picturesque beauty of this valley and the lakes and hilltops covered here.
  • This trek ranges from moderate to difficult. The distance covered by this valley is 67 kms and the temperature is comparatively cooler to other destinations. It falls from 10 to 5 during day time and again falls to -20 degrees at night.

Itinerary For Annapurna Circuit trek, Nepal

Day 1 - Tribhuvan International Airport

Kathmandu

  • Travel representative will be there to pick you up and drop you in the hotel.
  • By the evening, discussion about the trekking will start.

Day 2 - Kathmandu to pokhara

  • This journey will take 7 hours because it is 914 meters
  • Mostly, it happens in the daytime.
  • Natural and cultural diversities.
  • Lakes,caves and Buddhist temples are the attractions over pokhara.
  • Stay will be in a hotel over the night.

Day 3 - Pokhara to tolka

  • This is a walk for 4 hours continued by a drive for 30 minutes
  • You can enjoy the panoramic view of Annapurna and Himachuli.
  • Stay will be at tea house

Day 4 - Tolka to chomrong

  • This is the gateway to Annapurna sanctuary.
  • The view of the peak is great from here.
  • It will take 5 hours to reach chomrong and one cannot miss the sunset here.

Day 5 - Chomrong to himalaya

Himalaya

  • This is a descent towards the villages of chomrong
  • We have to walk 7 hours to reach himalaya through Sinuwa,Khuldighar, Bamboo and Dovan valleys

Day 6 - Himalaya to Annapurna base camp

Annapurna camp

  • This is where our ultimate destination of the trek is.
  • You can see yourself surrounded by mountains at the base camp
  • These mountains include Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna south, Gangapurna, Gandharvachulli and Machapuchare.

Day 7 - Annapurna base camp to Bamboo

Bamboo

  • This trek includes steep and short ascents.On this way one will reach to pokhara. Staying in bamboo and walking would be more than any other day.
    Stay at a tea house.

Day 8 - Bamboo to Jhinu Dhada

Jhinu Dhada

  • This journey will take 5 hours to reach the destination.
  • You can see the sightful mountain of fishtail and stay at the tea house.

Day 9 - Jhinu danda to pokhara

  • We only need a 4 hour walk to reach Pokhara.This is the return journey and the stay will be at the tea house.

Day 10 - Pokhara to kathmandu

  • You can enjoy the first cable car of Nepal going through Damauli,Dumre,Muglin and Kurintar.
  • After that one will reach the gateway of kathmandu- Thankot.
  • This night you will be staying in a hotel

How can I reach Kathmandu?

  • One can choose either Air,Road or train to reach Kathmandu. The Tribhuvan International Airport is the one and only international airport here and flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Varanasi fly to here. Air India, Indigo and Nepal Airlines operate in Nepal.
  • You can also prefer buses for travel. Until Sunauli, One can take buses from Either Gorakhpur or Varanasi. From  Sunauli, Local buses are available.
  • Train service is not direct and it is too much time consuming. One has to take a train from Jainagar (India) to Janakpur(Nepal). And from there 6 hours will take to drive to this spot.
  •  The batch leaves on 3, 10 ,17 and 24 of april,  1,8,15,22 and 29 th of may,  2,9,16,23 and 30th of october,   6,13,20,and 27th of November.
