The tour to these beautiful villages was amazing and fun. The five days passed in the blink of an eye. The views were mesmerizing and the riverside camping experience was exceptional.
It was an exciting trip full of beautiful scenery. A perfect escape from the hustle of city life. We went in the summer months and it was such a relief. Will plan a trip here again with friends.
The riverside camping experience in Chitkul was amazing. Nature walks and birdwatching here gives you so much relaxation and peace. The bonfire and music in the evening makes the experience more fun.
The beauty of Chitkul is something I cannot describe in words. The small village looks so surreal with people living simply. The temples here are beautiful with intricate wooden work which will appeal to you. A worthwhile visit.
Exploring the quaint town of Chitkul and Kalpa was a great trip choice. It is beautiful and the nature here heals you. Birdwatching and visiting the old temples are some of the best activities to do here.
Amongst all the three villages, I had the most fun in Kalpa witnessing the beautiful Kinnaur Kailash range. Apart from this, the ancient Lord Vishnu temple should definitely be on your list, it is peaceful and the architecture is amazing.
BanBanjara organized this trip beautifully. It was well-planned with enough time to explore all the places without any rush.
It was a friend's trip and we booked it through this agency. The experience was amazing with the riverside camping experience one of the best. It was so beautiful to look at birds while nature walking.
Visiting these small villages reflecting Tibetian and Himachali culture was one of the best experiences. The entire trip gave me so much calm that I plan to visit it more often.

Between May and June, the summer seasons are the ideal time for visiting Chitkul. With blossoming meadows and pleasant weather, there is no time better than summer. If you want to see the autumn colors, September and early October are ideal too. Winters are not ideal for a trip to Chitkul, as there is heavy snowfall.
It is known as the ‘last village’ because in the Indo-Tibetan, Kinnaur district, Himachal Pradesh, this is the last inhabited village. After Chitkul, the area is extremely harsh, making it impossible for humans to live.
Narkanda is known for its stunning snow range views. However, its specialty is being the winter sports and skiing destination of India with an undulating nature’s view.
Kalpa is known for providing tourists with the Himalaya’s Kinner Kailash Range’s best views. Moreover, from here, you can see the view of Shivling Peak, which changes color throughout the day.
Dress in multiple layers to protect yourself from harsh weather conditions.
Carry all essential medications.
Respect the locals and their culture.
There will be limited connectivity, so be prepared.
