The tour to these beautiful villages was amazing and fun. The five days passed in the blink of an eye. The views were mesmerizing and the riverside camping experience was exceptional.

The riverside camping experience in Chitkul was amazing. Nature walks and birdwatching here gives you so much relaxation and peace. The bonfire and music in the evening makes the experience more fun.

Exploring the quaint town of Chitkul and Kalpa was a great trip choice. It is beautiful and the nature here heals you. Birdwatching and visiting the old temples are some of the best activities to do here.
Amongst all the three villages, I had the most fun in Kalpa witnessing the beautiful Kinnaur Kailash range. Apart from this, the ancient Lord Vishnu temple should definitely be on your list, it is peaceful and the architecture is amazing.

Between May and June, the summer seasons are the ideal time for visiting Chitkul. With blossoming meadows and pleasant weather, there is no time better than summer. If you want to see the autumn colors, September and early October are ideal too. Winters are not ideal for a trip to Chitkul, as there is heavy snowfall.
It is known as the ‘last village’ because in the Indo-Tibetan, Kinnaur district, Himachal Pradesh, this is the last inhabited village. After Chitkul, the area is extremely harsh, making it impossible for humans to live.
Narkanda is known for its stunning snow range views. However, its specialty is being the winter sports and skiing destination of India with an undulating nature’s view.
