Itinerary For Delhi to Vaishno Devi Train Package

Day 1 - Arrival at Katra

Day 2 - Tour to Vaishno Devi

On this day after having their morning breakfast visitors will be transferred to Banganga, from where the trail towards the Vaishno Devi temple begins. The 12 km elevated path can be covered either by walking or riding a pony.
After visiting the temple visitors will finish their dinner at any nearby restaurant and then head back to the respective hotel rooms by late night or morning.

Day 3 - From Katra to Pahalgam

After finishing with their breakfast visitors must head out to visit Pahalgam, which is a beautiful hill station situated in the valley of Kashmir.
On the way, visitors will get to visit Patnitop, where they can enjoy the breathtaking views of the valley and can have lunch at the local restaurant and then return back to Kashmir.
Upon arrival at Pahalgam, visitors must check into the hotels and enjoy the rest of the day on their own.
They can also visit nearby attractions like Aru Valley, Baisaran, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari.
For kids there are places like Amusement Park by the Lidder River.
After visiting all places, return back to the hotel to stay overnight.

Day 4 - Sightseeing at Srinagar

Check out of the hotel and drive to Srinagar after breakfast. Pahalgam is a 2-hour drive away.
When visitors arrive in Srinagar, they will check into their hotel and unwind for a while before embarking on a tour of the city's most iconic attractions.
Our first stop will be at Dal Lake, where visitors can admire the scenery and take a Shikara ride before heading to Nehru Park.
We'll then proceed to the Shankaracharya Hill Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Now proceed to the Mughal Gardens for a grand tour that will transport you to a world of scenic splendor. Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi, and Nishat Bagh are among the sites you'll see.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay after a long day.

Day 5 - Excursion at Gulmarg

Day 6 - Gulmarg to Sonamarg

After finishing breakfast in Gulmarg visitors must check out from the hotel to travel to Sonamarg, which is a hill station usually known for its history and its golden snow. Earlier, this place was regarded as the gateway to the silk route between Kashmir and China.
Here one can enjoy some fun-filled activities with their loved ones like a stroll to Khir-Bhawani and Narang temples or can also indulge in water sports.
During the evening, they will be taken back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 7 - Departure

Katra

After breakfast visitors will be dropped at the Jammu/Katra railway station and the amazing journey concludes here.

Many state operated buses are available from Jammu to Katra at regular intervals. Also private buses and cabs are available towards Katra from Jammu.

Vaishno Devi remains open throughout the year but the best time to come here is between the months of March and October.
