If you are someone who is looking to spend a weekend then a trip to Gandikota & Belum Caves is best for you. I enjoyed the boat ride by the lakeside. Madhavaraya temple which is dedicated to lord Vishnu is a must-visit if you are here.
The main highlight of the tour to Gandikota & Belum Caves was the mesmerizing sunrise and sunset views from the gorge view. It was a great walk beneath 150 ft. at Belum Caves. Every place we got to visit was so beautiful. My trip was very memorable.
The visit to Gandikota Fort took us back in history. Here you can enjoy the serenity of the royal fort and the famous Penna River. The drive to this fort was very scenic. Our family enjoyed the tour. But it is advised to visit in the winter season to avoid the extremely hot weather.
A trip to Belum Caves and Gandikota is not worth missing. It was a mind-blowing experience for us. This place took us back in history and we got to witness the stunning beauty of the largest and longest caves in India – Belum Caves. There was a huge Mahavir statue at the entrance of this cave. People there say that this is a place where Buddhists and Jains used to meditate.

This place has so many historical attractions and forts it is an amazing fort with a lot of places like the ruined Ranganayaka temple, Madhavaraya temple, Jumma masjid, Penna river Gorge, and Water tanks which is a unique place in Gandikot. This place is great for someone who loves history and wants to learn new things.
