Gorumara NationalPark is located in the floodplain of the Murti and Rayadak rivers, at the foot of the eastern Himalayas in the Malbazar subdivision of Jalpaiguri in North Bengal. It was established as a wildlife century and then it became a National park in1992. This national park is an ideal place for animal and nature lovers due to its original location in the foothills of the Himalayas.This tourist center has witnessed a significant influx of tourists from November to March. However, the park is closed from 15 June to 15 September because of the rainy and animal breeding seasons.It reopens every year from October to June.
