This location is near to Pokhara and situated at an elevation of 3700 meters. One can also start the trekking from Kathmandu. The duration of this journey is 6 days.

Machhapuchre is a new area located in the Annapurna range. The trekking goes on through villages, so there will be a lot of opportunities for various activities and conversing with the local people.
The landscape is so beautiful, filled with mountain ranges like Himchuli and mound Mardi, streams, cultures, and many more.

Stay will be in tea houses for 6 days. It starts from Pokhara and ends at Pokhara. To reach Pokhara, one can resort to many ways. If one takes a flight from Kathmandu, it only takes 25 minutes.
If one takes other private means of travel, it takes only 7 hours. Again a drive of 30 minutes is needed to reach the starting point.The trekking schedule also includes some other activities like paragliding, Bungee jumping, rafting, and mountain flight.

The Machhapuchhre trek starts from Kathmandu. One can take domestic flights to Pokhara and drive to the exact starting location. One will get dropped off at Pokhara airport on the last day.

Itinerary For Machhapuchhre model trek

Day 1 - Drive to hyamja

Hyamja

The journey will be in private transportation via Gachok.
One will reach at an altitude of 2160 meters.
The stay for this night will be in the tent.

Day 2 - Trek from Hile Kharkha to khumai danda

Khumai danda

After covering 3245 meters, the stay for this day will be in tea houses.

Day 3 - Machhapuchhra via Korchan

Machhapuchhra

One reaches 3700 meters on this day.

Day 4 - Trek khumai danda to mirsha village

Mirsha village

After descending, one reaches a height of 1500 meters on this day.
Stay will be in tea houses.

Day 5 - Mirsha village to Gachok

Gachok

On this day too, one descends to 1250 meters.
Stay in tea houses for the whole night.

Day 6 - Gachok to Hyamja

Hyamja

This day marks the end of the trek and one returns back to Pokhara on this day.

Any cancellation made within 7-20 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 60% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Any cancellation made within 0-7 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 100% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
