Itinerary For Meghalaya Group Tour Package (6D/5N)

Day 1 - Arrival to Guwahati and Shillong

Guwahati

Today we will leave for Shillong which is the capital city of Meghalaya on your way you will stop at Umiam Lake
This lake is 220 sq km in radius and is surrounded by beautiful hillocks.
After sightseeing you will continue your journey back to Shillong. After reaching Shillong you will have to check into your hotel.
Stay overnight at the hotel

Day 2 - Travel from Shilling to Cherrapunjee

Cherrapunjee

Wake up early in the morning, head toward Latilum Canyon, and then move toward Cherrapunjee which is located 65 km away from Shillong.
On your way, you will witness beautiful waterfalls and after arriving at the destination you can check in to your hotel or homestay.
After resting at the hotel/homestay you can visit Wei Sawdong, Nohsnithiang Falls, and Mawsmai Cave.
After exploring these beautiful places you can return to your hotel or homestay and stay there overnight.

Day 3 - Double-Decker Bridge

Cherrapunjee

Wake up early in the morning and have a delicious breakfast before heading toward Nongriat village of Cherrapunjee.
You will start your trek to the double-decker root bridge after reaching Nongriat village.
This is a 5-6 hour-long trek via Tryna village
The drive to Tyrna village is a of total 5 km and on your way, you will witness beautiful mountains, valleys, and three interesting khasi villages.
Here you can take a dip at one of the natural swimming pools
Stay overnight at the hotel/homestay in Cherrapunjee

Day 4 - Travel from Cheerapunjee to Shnongpdeng/ Dawki

Shnongpdeng

Wake up early in the morning and treat your taste buds with a lip-smacking breakfast before checking out from the hotel and then you will head toward Mawlynnong.
Cleanliness and root bridges are the main attractions of this village
Then you will head toward Shnongpdeng/ Dawki. Here you can indulge in some amazing adventure activities like cliff jumping and boating.
Umngot River is the main attraction of this place
Today you will stay by the riverside camp at Shnongpdeng/Dawki

Day 5 - Travel from Dawki to Shillong

Shillong

Wake up early in the morning treat your taste buds with a lip-smacking breakfast and witness the beauty of east Khasi hills.
To witness the most beautiful waterfall of India you will have to leave for Krang Suri Waterfalls. Here you can enjoy swimming in the natural pool
After exploring the beautiful place you will have to start your journey back to Shillong
Stay overnight in Shillong in a hotel/homestay
