Unique in its difficulty, the Shrikhand Mahadev Trek is not for the faint of heart. The journey covers a distance of approximately 72 kilometres (45 miles) and takes around 7-10 days to complete, depending on the route chosen.
While navigating the challenging terrain, trekkers also have the opportunity to interact with local communities in the region. The warm hospitality of the Kinnauri people and their distinct culture add a unique layer to the trekking experience.
