Itinerary For Srinagar Leh Manali Bike Trip With Umlingla & Tsomoriri

Day 1 - Arrival in Srinagar

Reach at your Hotel/Houseboat after landing in Srinagar.
Upon reaching the Hotel/Houseboat in Srinagar, You will meet the tour representative.
Check in to the Hotel/Houseboat and relax for some time.
Head out to explore the Dal Lake and enjoy the Shikara Ride.
You can also visit the local markets in Srinagar to shop for souvenirs.
Enjoy a lip-smacking dinner followed by a briefing for the tour the next day.
Get a good night's sleep for an exciting day ahead.

Day 2 - Srinagar To Kargil

Wake up early and have breakfast before we leave for Kargil.
On the way, we will visit Sonmarg and head towards Drass, India’s coldest place. This is also known as Gateway to Ladakh, passing through the Zoji La Pass.
We will take a lunch break on the way (self-sponsored) and resume our journey to Kargil after lunch.
Upon reaching Kargil, we will check in to the Hotel.
Have dinner and retire for the day.

Day 3 - Kargil To Leh

Today we will start our journey towards Leh, early morning after breakfast.
We will drive to Lamayuru from Kargil via Mulbek, Namika La and Fotu La.
The total distance between Leh and Lamayuru is around 125 kilometers and the route passes through Hangroo Loops and Nimmu.
On the way to Leh, we will visit some popular attractions like Magnetic Hills, the Confluence of the River, and Gurudwara Pathir Sahib.
After arrival in Leh by evening, we will check in to the hotel.
Have your dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4 - Leh To Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

After having breakfast today we will head towards Nubra Valley from Leh.
This Ride from Leh to Nubra involves crossing the highest motorable pass in the world, Khardung La Pass; stay at Khardung La Top for a while before resuming the journey.
Take a ride towards the Diskit Monastery from where you can get the most spectacular views of Nubra Valley.
Enjoy a double-humped camel ride at Hundar Sand Dunes.
Today we will stay in camps/cottages.
Have your dinner and get a good sleep.

Day 5 - Nubra Valley To Pangaong Tso via Shyok

Leave Leh post-breakfast and head towards Pangong Tso.
By late afternoon, we will reach Pangong Tso. This majestic lake is famous for its beauty and changes colour four to five times.
Spend your evening admiring the views of the lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
Tonight we will stay at camps at Pangong and dinner will also be served there.

Day 6 - Journey from Pangong to Hanle

Today we will leave for a small village Hanle. Have your breakfast and get ready for the journey.
Hanle is a village in Ladakh that comes under the Changthang region in Jammu and Kashmir’s southeastern end.
This journey will take around 8 to 9 hours from Pangong passing through Lukung and Chushul Valley, near the Indo-China border.
By the evening, we will reach Hanle and will visit the Chandra telescope (Hanle Observatory).
Today’s stay will be in a homestay/hotel and here you will enjoy a lip-smacking Ladakhi dinner.
Overnight stay in Hanle.

Day 7 - Hanle to Umling La and back to Hanle

We will head towards the Umling La post breakfast. This is one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
After having a good time here, we will head back to Hanle village and reach there by evening.
An overnight stay in Hanle followed by a delicious dinner at the hotel.

Day 8 - Hanle Village to Tsomoriri Lake

We will check out the stay post breakfast and visit the Hanle Monastery which dates back to the 17th century.
Our journey to Tsomoriri Lake will start after visiting the Hanle Monastery.
On the way to this lake, we will cover places like Ryal Lake at an altitude of 5,000 metres, Salsal La Pass at 17,200 Feet, and Churmur Village.
The Churmur Village is the last village on the Indo-China Border and here you can visit the Chumur Gompa which has live “Mummy”.
Tsomoriri Lake is one of the high-altitude lakes in Ladakh.
Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and deep blue water, this lake creates a picturesque scenery.
Tonight we will stay in camps in Tsomoriri.
Have your dinner at the campsite and retire for the day.

Day 9 - Tsomoriri To Leh

Have breakfast, check out camps in Tsomoriri and head back to Leh.
You can halt at Changla Pass on the way back and visit popular tourist spots like 3-Idiots School and Hemis Monastery.
Arrival in Leh by evening and dinner at the hotel.
Stay in Leh overnight.

Day 10 - Leh To Sarchu

Wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast and then we’ll head toward Sarchu.
Today’s journey involves driving on a 30 km long straight road at Moore Plains.
After having lunch at Pang, we will resume the journey towards Sarchu, which involves passing through 2 mountain passes and a series of hairpin bends.
The two mountain passes are Nakee La at an altitude of 4739 meters and Lachung La at 5065 meters.
The Gata Loops is a series of 21 hairpin bends and reaching Sarchu involves passing through this route.
Upon reaching Sarchu, we will check into camps and have dinner.
Overnight stay in Sarchu under the sky full of stars.

Day 11 - Sarchu To Manali

Wake up early and get ready for a long journey after having breakfast.
Today’s journey involves driving on Baralacha-La at 4892 meters, one of the most challenging passes on the Leh and Manali highways.
Driving on this pass offers you with the breathtaking views.
You will also get to see the Suraj Tal on the top of Baralacha La.
The journey to Manali also includes passing through Patsio, Zingzing Bar, and Darcha.
Check in to the hotel in Manali and stay overnight.
You will also get dinner at the hotel itself.

Day 12 - Explore Manali and Leave for Delhi

Have your breakfast and get ready to explore Manali on your own.
Here you can visit a few popular tourist spots like Hidimba Devi Temple, Jogini Falls, Mall Road, and Vashisht Temple.
Indulge in cafe hopping and stroll around the street of old Manali before departure.
We will leave for delhi by evening.

Day 13 - Reach Delhi

You will reach Delhi by the next morning and head back home with a bag full of memories to cherish forever.

Carrying travel documents and a first-aid kit is also important for a hassle-free and safe trip.

Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
