How to reach 

By Air 

➔ To reach the Triund Trek starting point in Bhagsu by air, you can fly to Gaggal Airport (also known as Kangra Airport) near Dharamshala. 

➔ It's the nearest airport, approximately 20 kilometers away. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Bhagsu, where your trek to Triund begins.

By Road

➔ To reach the Triund Trek starting point in Bhagsu by road, you can drive or take a bus to McLeod Ganj, a town near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. 

➔ From McLeod Ganj, you can start your trek to Triund, which is approximately 2.5 kilometers away, accessible by foot from the town center.

By Train

➔ There is no direct train route to Bhagsu. To reach Bhagsu for the Triund Trek, you can take a train to Pathankot Railway Station, a major railhead in the region. 

➔ From Pathankot, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to McLeod Ganj, which is the nearest town to Bhagsu, and start your trek from there.

Day 1 - Bhagsu Nag to Triund to Leta Camps

Bhagsu

  • Our adventure begins at the Manu Adventures India Office at 10 am. We kick off our trek towards Triund by starting from upper Bhagsu, passing through the charming village area, and reaching the majestic Bhagsunag waterfall, the largest in the region. 
  • Along the way, we take a refreshing break at the laid-back Shiva Café for some snacks. Your guide will regale you with captivating stories about the place to make the journey enjoyable. 
  • The natural trail is captivating, ensuring you remain engaged throughout the trek. We continue our hike to Triund via Katrani Dhar, where the awe-inspiring beauty of the surroundings will captivate you. 
  • Spend quality time at Triund, capturing the beauty of nature in your photographs, and later, we trek back to Leta Camps. As the day winds down, we enjoy a delightful dinner by the bonfire accompanied by soothing music. 
  • Spend the night under the starry sky, basking in the warmth of the bonfire. It's an overnight stay in the cozy camps.

Day 2 - Leta Camps to Bhagsu Nag

Mcleodganj

  • The sunrise is a breathtaking highlight of this trek, so we rise early to witness the mountains bathed in golden morning light. 
  • After savoring a hearty breakfast and capturing some beautiful moments through your lens, we commence our trek back to McLeod Ganj in the early hours. As we reach the waterfall, our guide will bid farewell. 
  • You can spend time at the waterfall, explore the local Tibetan market, and visit the ancient temple nearby. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city at your leisure.
