Victoria and Albert Museum highlights in an image
One of the most well-known items in the Victoria & Albert Museum is called "Tipu's Tiger." It was made for Tipu Sultan, who ruled Mysore in South India from 1782 to 1799 and depicts a tiger almost life-size semi-automaton-style mowing down a soldier from Europe.
