Itinerary For Yumthang Tsongu tour

Day 1 - From Gangtok to Lachung

This remote location set at roughly 8,500 feet above sea level is blessed with an air of tribal culture.
The Lachung Monastery positioned across the road acts as the centre stage for all religious activities conducted by locals here.
En route, one can't help but marvel at the breathtaking cascades that seem to stretch on endlessly transforming this drive into a delightful experience.
A major draw near Lachung is Yumthang Valley which lies at a mere distance of 24 km from here.

Day 2 - Yumthang Valley

Yumthang

A visit to Yumthang Valley is a must. This mesmerizing valley boasts of having hot springs and a river running through its heart.
Additionally, it is also home to Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary harbouring no fewer than 24 species of rhododendrons. Post-exploration halted overnight in Lachung.

Day 3 - From Lachung to Lachen and Thangu

Today's plan includes driving from Lachung towards Lachen/Thangu and reaching an altitude of 9,075 feet to reach Lachen village perched atop rolling terrains offering panoramic vistas of surrounding landscapes and countryside.
Thangu, situated about three hours away from Lachen, lies high up at approximately 14,000 feet above sea level.

Day 4 - Chopta valley and back to Gangtok

Begin early morning with a visit to Chopta Valley followed by a return drive back to Gangtok marking the end of this memorable journey.

Any cancellation made within 0-7 days prior to the date of departure, would levy a 100% of total tour cost as cancellation charges.
Due to any restrictions such as sudden government policies or regulations, health hazards, medical emergencies, or unprecedented weather conditions, activities and tours may be nonoperational and be cancelled. In cases such as these, operators will attempt to cater to the traveller an alternate, which is feasible in nature. However, any refund would not be catered.
