By Air - 

The nearest airport is Gaggal Airport or Kangra Airport at Dharamshala which is about 20 km away from McLeodGanj and is linked well to Delhi, Kullu and Chandigarh. Various Airlines like Air India Regional, SpiceJet and Jagson Airlines operate regular flights from these cities for Dharamshala. Once you reach the airport, tourists can hire taxis or take buses to reach their destination, which takes around an hour.

By Road -

States from all around the country are well connected to McLeodGanj with buses or taxi nextworks. Most of the buses leave from the Kashmiri Gate ISBT and Majnu-ka-Tilla (a Tibetian camp) in New Delhi. You can also travel in deluxe buses of Himachal Pradesh Tourism available from Himachal Bhawan. 

By railways -  

Pathankot Railway Station is located approximately 90 km away and is the closest. These are Some of the popular trains available from Delhi for Pathankot  Jammu Mail and Uttar Sampark Kranti. After you reach Pathankot, you take a taxi or bus from outside the station, which is easily available.

The recommended way to reach from New Delhi to Mcleodganj is by bus to Mcleodganj and takes 10h 40m.
