The beach at Sarakiniko is found on Milos' northern coast. It is just 1.2 kilometers from Adamas and 5 km from Plaka, the capital city of Milos. Buses from Adamas can take you to Sarakiniko during the busy season, but a rental or cab is preferable. A scooter or an ATV are other options.
Sarakiniko Beach is formed of greyish-white volcanic granite that the wind and waves have sculpted into odd, sinuous patterns.
