The elegant museum is triple storeyed with 30 Main gallery rooms and a courtyard. It displays a timewise evolution of fine arts.
The artifacts in the Museum are displayed based on themes which allows visitors to have a clear idea of evolution of both, prehistoric and Modern arts. It includes folk arts which takes the rural Community into light and Modern contemporary themed arts focusing on Modern admirers.
1 ) 11th to 20th century object display: The Museum has a chronological display of culture and its evolution. With over 2000 objects to preserve, spread and educate people from all over the world about their history
2 ) sculpture of Buddha : The attention grabbing statue of 16th century Guan Yin Buddha is a must watch sight in there .it also has different artifacts of Buddhist Dynasties from 16th century like Tran Dynasty.
3) Quan Am Statue: The perfectly carved statue of Vietnamese Goddess of Mercy, Quan Am is displayed at the Fine Arts Museum.
4) 18 Arhat Statues: The 18 Arhats as stated in Chinese Mythology of Buddhism, were orginal followers of Buddha and passed all the four stages of enlightenment. Museum has depicted it so well in there.
5) Lacquered Arts : Vietnam is famous for its traditional lacquer art . You will find various traditional lacquer arts and paintings in the Fine Arts Museum.
6) Stone carvings: The Artifacts from the ancient kingdom of Champa including stone carved deities are on display for visitors.
7) Em Thuy Painting: Tran Van Can's Em Thuy painting is one of the finest portraits till today , the painting is a portrait of his Niece , also known as 'Little Sister ' by its admirers. It is one of the most intriguing arts to watch at the Fine Arts Museum.
8) Dong Son Culture: many artifacts from the Dong Son Culture in the Bronze Age Vietnam are present in the Museum.
