Happy Valley being an picturesque valley is located in Mussoorie in Uttarakhand which is well known for its panaromic views as well as tranquil environment. 1. Shedup Choepelling Temple - This amazing monastery is in the Happy Valley which consists of several prayer wheels along with a large state of Lord Buddha. If you are able to attend the temple during morning or evening hours, then you can witness the daily prayers and rituals by the monks residing there.
2. Happy Valley School - This boarding school was established in 1952 in oredr to educate the Tibetan children.
3. Lha Charitable Trust - This non-profit organisation was established to offer financial support to the Tibetan community by running various programs like a community center, volunteer program and training centre for social workers.
4. Trekking - Since the valley is surrounded with dense forests, it can be a great adventure hub for nture enthusiasts. While trekking, you can come across Benog Wildlife Sanctuary where you can see different species of birds and animals.
5. Tibetan Homes Foundation - This residentil school is mainly built for Tibetan children so as to rescue orphans or physically disabled children. It aims in providing free education, health care and other facilities to the needy children and families.
