One should not miss that Lodhi Garden is not just a park but various tombs of emperors from the Lodhi Dynasty are present here. Tombs of greats like Mohommad Shah and Sikandar Lodhi are also a highlight of the Lodhi Garden.
2)History : The history of Lodhi Garden runs back to the Sayyid Dynasty in 1444 during the reign of Ala-ud-din Alam Shah , who made the tomb of his Father Mohommad Shah in the place. Followed by several tombs of rulers of the Lodhi Dynasty as well . This led to the place expanding into two villages . In 1936 , a former British resident's wife , Lady Willingdon decided to vacate both the villages and turn it into a surreal landscape Garden that we know today as the Lodhi Garden.
3)Green Landscape: This 90 acres garden is filled with greenery and floral landscape. From well mentioned Lawns to eye-captivating Flower beds like roses and tulips. The view makes it a perfect picnic spot for Delhiites .
4)Athpula Bridge: This is one of the underrated attractions in Lodhi Garden. This eight pillar arched bridge was built during the reign of Akbar . It is one of the most picturesque attractions in Lodhi Garden.
5)Bonsai Cultivation Park : If you are a nature lover with an admiration for bonsai, you will be in for a visual treat in Lodhi Garden's Bonsai Park .
6)Glasshouse: The Glasshouse in Lodhi Garden is a must visit attraction.
7)Bada Gumbad (Big Dome): Built in the late 14th century, this Dome was built during the reign of Sikandar There is also a complex architecture Mosque inside the Bada Gumbad.
8)Shish Gumbad : Built with blue tiles and beautiful glass designs ,the famous Shish Gumbad or Glass Tomb was built in the era of Ibrahim Lodi.
