Best time to visit Rainbow Bay Gold Coast

As a seaside region, Rainbow Bay experiences rather stable weather and temperatures. The region enjoys plenty of sunshine virtually all year round. The best months to visit Rainbow are from May to October because the humidity is at its lowest and the weather is mild enough to spend all day on the beach.

Avoid the months of January and February because they see the most rain and thus have the highest humidity levels. Australia's winter season lasts from June to August, and the change in temperature makes getting in the water a little uncomfortable. These are the greatest months to go whale watching, though, if you're interested.
