Rani Talab Meyer is a historic lake in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, near the city of Jabalpur. It is also known as Rani Durgavati Talab, after the legendary 16th-century queen Rani Durgavati. The lake, which spans over 25 acres and is surrounded by lush foliage, is a favorite site for picnics and entertainment. The lake is thought to have been created by the region's Gond kings, who were later joined by the Maratha monarchs.
