Since the Mekaré-kare or Pandan War, a well-known ritual practise, takes place in June and lasts for more than a month, June is the best month to visit the hamlet. Approximately twice a day, this custom is observed. The Panadanu plant's leaves are used in this festival's fights between village men. This festival is held as an act of adoration for Lord Indra.
