Nahan is a town in the state of Himachal Pradesh in India. It was the capital of the former princely state of Sirmur and is presently the headquarters of the Siramur district. Fort Jaitak

Shivalik Fossil Park

Shivalik Fossil Park is also known as the Suketi Fossil Park and is at a distance of 21 km from Nahan. This place displays FRP models of prehistoric animals, whose skeletons were found here. This park is unique as it was developed at the actual discovery site of the fossils. It has life-sized models of the Stegodonganesa, Sivatherium, Hexaprotodon sivalensis, Colossochelys atlas, Paramacherdus and Crocodilla, animals who once thrived here.
