How to reach

If you are travelling by air, Mumbai Chatrapati Shivaji will be your nearest international airport terminal, situated about 360 kilometres from Saputara. By comparison, the Surat airport would be your nearest airport. You can find airport taxis or cab to reach Saputara from the airport. If you are travelling by rail, the Waghai railway station could be the closest and is situated about 50 km apart from Saputara. Best time to visit

Saputara has a favourable climate all through the year. Hence, it can be visited anytime. However, the winter season, i.e., from October to February, is generally fair in Saputara. Sometimes the temperature may drop to 8 degree Celsius, but overall the weather is quite enjoyable. This period marks the top tourist season in Saputara. March to June is the summer season and also a favourable time for the visit. The maximum temperature is 28 degree Celsius. July to September is the monsoon season, and Saputara receives heavy rainfall with slight humidity. So try to avoid these months.
