Do Dham Yatra is a pilgrimage to two holy places, Badrinath and Kedarnath, located in Garhwal in Uttarakhand. To witness the beauty of the Himalayan mountains and feel the serenity within is an experience one shouldn't miss. Kedarnath and Badrinath are collectively referred to in the collective name Do Dham. Both the places lie in the middle of the high Himalayan mountains. The trip to Kedarnath and Badrinath can wash away all your sins and give you Moksha. Many people worldwide visit the Do Dham Yatra, one of the most beautiful pilgrimage experiences worldwide. The pilgrimage starts from the Kedarnath temple, then ends at Badrinath as the pilgrim traditionally starts in the West and concludes in the East.

Itinerary For Do Dham Yatra Package Haridwar

Day 1 - Haridwar to Guptkashi

Guptkashi

Arrive at Haridwar early in the morning and begin your journey towards Guptkashi after breakfast. The drive takes you through scenic Himalayan routes via Devprayag and Rudraprayag, famous for their sacred river confluences.
Witness the beautiful meeting points of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers while enjoying lush valleys and winding mountain roads.

On reaching Guptkashi, check in to the hotel and relax after the long drive. You may explore nearby temples or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 1 - Guptkashi to Kedarnath

Kedarnath

Wake up early and have breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Sonprayag and continue to Gaurikund by local vehicle, which marks the starting point of the Kedarnath trek.
Begin your trek towards Kedarnath, one of the most revered shrines of Lord Shiva, set amidst snow-clad peaks and breathtaking landscapes.

Pilgrims may choose alternative options such as pony, palki, or helicopter services (subject to availability).
Upon arrival at Kedarnath, check in to your accommodation and attend the soulful evening aarti at the temple.

Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 3 - Kedarnath to Guptkashi

Guptkashi

Wake up early and attend the morning aarti at Kedarnath Temple. After seeking blessings, have breakfast and begin your descent trek towards Gaurikund.
On reaching Gaurikund, proceed to Sonprayag by local vehicle and continue the drive back to Guptkashi.

Enjoy scenic views of the Mandakini River and surrounding Himalayan terrain during the return journey.
Check in to the hotel on arrival and relax for the day.

Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 4 - Guptkashi to Pipalkothi

Pipalkothi

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your drive towards Pipalkothi. The route passes through Rudraprayag, offering scenic river views and forest-lined mountain roads.
Enjoy the calm atmosphere and picturesque landscapes throughout the journey.

On arrival in Pipalkothi, check in to the hotel and rest after the drive.
Evening is free to relax and acclimatize.

Overnight stay in Pipalkothi.

Day 5 - Pipalkothi to Badrinath and Return

Badrinath

Wake up early, have breakfast, and drive towards Badrinath via Joshimath. On arrival, perform darshan at the revered Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Take a holy dip in Tapt Kund and experience the spiritual atmosphere of the temple town.

You may also visit Mana Village, known as the last Indian village near the Indo-Tibetan border.
After completing darshan and sightseeing, drive back to Pipalkothi.

Overnight stay in Pipalkothi.

Day 6 - Pipalkothi to Haridwar

Haridwar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to Haridwar. Drive through Rudraprayag and Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers merge to form the holy River Ganga.
Enjoy the last glimpses of the Himalayan landscape as you descend towards the plains.

Arrive at Haridwar by evening, marking the end of your spiritually fulfilling Do Dham Yatra.
