You trek through the paths across rhododendron oak and pine forests. If you’re keen nature lover, you can spot some red blue billed magpie, khalif pheasant, scaly breasted woodpecker, Himalayan monal,and streaked laughing thrush.

Itinerary For Bansi Narayan Trek

Day 1 - Arrive at Helang/Joshimath

Joshimath

If traveling by train, report to Dehradun or Haridwar early in the morning or at the previous night. You can board shared taxis from railway stations or from the stand early in the morning.

Day 2 - Drive to Devgram along with Mulakharak trek.

Devgram

Today the trail starts from Devgram. You start it with a gradual ascent on a trail that takes you to another village. After the next 20 minutes of trail, you reach the mobile tower. Then you take a gradual ascent until you reach Bansa village.Once you touch the top point, the jungle opens out and turns into a big meadow in front. Spent night at a campsite.

Day 3 - From Mulakharak to the temple of Bansi Narayan.

Bhagwati Devi temple

Start your trail in Bhagwati Devi temple direction. Later after 20 minutes, the view opens up to the forest for its first time on today’s trek. After an hour of trail you reach the temple of Bansi Narayan.

Day 4 - Explore your surroundings and Bansi Narayan temple

Explore Bansi Narayan temple

Chota Nandi Kund located at around 2 hours is one of the top points you can explore. Also you can witness mountain ranges and lakes through the point.

Day 5 - From Bansi Narayan to Devgram

Devgram

Head back for your return trip to Devgram. You can witness beauty enroute
