It is one of the best jungle walking tours in Kerala. Seeing the wild animals in their natural habitats was one of the best experiences ever. I will recommend you book an early morning safari so you can enjoy this experience with fewer crowds.

It is famous as one of the 18 wildlife sanctuaries nestled in the protected areas of Kerala. It is also known for being the only rehabilitation center for the beautiful Indian star tortoise in India. Eravikulam National Park has jurisdiction over this wildlife sanctuary.
The winter months from October to February are the best months for visiting Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. They are pleasantly cold but mild, making them perfect. The summer months are harsh and hot, and monsoons receive heavy rainfall, making both of these seasons not so ideal.
