By Air 

➔ To reach Triund Trek from Dharamshala by air, you can take a flight to Gaggal Airport (also known as Kangra Airport), which is the nearest airport. It's approximately 15 kilometers from Dharamshala.

➔ From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Dharamshala town and then proceed to McLeod Ganj, the starting point of the Triund Trek.

By Road

Day 1 - Exploring McLeod Ganj's Highest Waterfall

  • Begin your exciting Triund Trek adventure by arriving at Bhagsu Nag Taxi Stand before 10:00 AM. 
  • Embark on a hike to witness McLeod Ganj's highest waterfall, a spectacular sight to behold. Pause at the Leta/Mana village campsite for some refreshing snacks (at your own expense) before continuing your journey. 
  • Leave your heavy bags at the campsite to lighten your load, and recharge with some more refreshments. 
  • As you ascend, soak in the breathtaking vistas of Kangra valley on one side and the majestic Dhauladhar mountain range on the other. Facing north, admire the magnificent Dhauladhar mountains overlooking the Triund valley and charming Mcleodganj town. 
  • After enjoying the scenic beauty for an hour or two, start your descent towards the Leta/Mana village campsite, where you can take a well-deserved break. 
  • In the evening, gather around the campfire for a memorable dinner around 8 PM, accompanied by soothing music beneath the starry sky.
