From there, hire a taxi or take a bus to reach McLeod Ganj, a popular starting point for the trek. The airport is approximately 20 kilometers from McLeod Ganj.

By Road

McLeod Ganj is well-connected by road and can be reached from major cities in Himachal Pradesh like Dharamshala and Shimla, as well as from neighboring states.

By Train

Reaching Laka Glacier Trek by train involves taking a train to Pathankot Railway Station, a major railway hub in the region.
From Pathankot, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to McLeod Ganj, the starting point for the trek. The railway station is approximately 90 kilometers from McLeod Ganj.

Itinerary For Laka Glacier Trek Package

Day 1 - Trek to Triund Top

Embark on an exciting trekking adventure by arriving at Bhagsu Nag Taxi Stand before 10:00 AM. Your journey begins with a scenic route through Bhagsu falls, the largest waterfall in McLeodganj.
Take a refreshing break here and refill your water bottles with the pure mountain water. Continue your trek to Leta/Mana Village, where you can lighten your load and enjoy snacks at a local tea shack (at your expense).
Reach the Triund Top by around 2:30 PM, where you'll be greeted by breathtaking panoramic views. After soaking in the beauty for an hour or two, start your descent towards the Leta/Mana Village campsite.
Check into your camps, unwind, and enjoy some leisure time. The evening brings a delightful bonfire, dinner (around 8 PM), and soothing music to create a memorable atmosphere.

Day 2 - Trek to Laka Glacier

Rise early to witness a stunning sunrise and savor a hearty breakfast at approximately 8:00 AM. Begin your trek to Laka Glacier through Triund, where an exhilarating experience awaits.
As you proceed toward Snowline, the trail becomes adorned with snow patches, making it a mesmerizing sight. Further along, you might find the trail completely covered in snow.
Reach the top by around 1:30 PM and revel in the breathtaking views of snow-clad mountains. Enjoy a delicious packed lunch at about 2:00 PM while taking in the picturesque surroundings. After spending an hour or two in awe of the views, descend to the Leta/Mana Village campsite. Arrive at the campsite around 6:30 PM, where you can savor the tranquil sunset views.
The evening brings another delightful bonfire, dinner (around 8 PM), and soothing music under the starry sky.

Day 3 - Trek Back to McLeodganj

Begin your day with breakfast around 8:30 AM and witness the serene sight of sheep grazing in the green meadows as you descend toward McLeodganj.
Your trek concludes around 2:00 PM, leaving you with unforgettable memories of this remarkable journey.

Confirmation Policy

Upon booking, the traveller will receive a confirmation voucher via email, within 24 hours.
