How to Reach
By Air
➔The Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, is the closest airport to the Kedarnath Temple Trek. Major Indian cities offer domestic flights that you can take from there. You will need to drive the remaining 250 kilometers from Dehradun to Kedarnath after landing, and then hike to the temple.
By Train
➔You can travel by car from major cities in Uttarakhand, India, such as Dehradun or Haridwar, to reach Kedarnath Temple Trek. The route passes through the picturesque mountain towns of Rudraprayag, Guptkashi, and Rishikesh before arriving at Gaurikund. The journey to Kedarnath Temple begins from Gaurikund and lasts for about 16 kilometers.
By Road
➔You can take a train to either Haridwar or Rishikesh, two important railheads in Uttarakhand, to begin the Kedarnath Temple Trek. Proceed to Gaurikund, the starting point of the Kedarnath trek, by road from there. Before beginning the trek to the temple, take the train for beautiful views of the area.
