What is the history of Hemkund Sahib?

Hemkund Sahib is a sacred place for Sikhs and is believed to be the place where Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru, meditated in his previous life . The shrine was discovered by a Sikh soldier named Havildar Modan Singh in 1934 .
