By Air 

➔ To reach the Triund Indrahar Pass Trek by air, you should book a flight to Gaggal Airport (Kangra Airport) near Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. 

➔ From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to McLeod Ganj, the starting point for the trek. The trek begins from McLeod Ganj and leads to Indrahar Pass.

By Road

➔ To reach the Triund Indrahar Pass Trek by road, you can drive or take a bus to McLeod Ganj, a town near Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. 

➔ McLeod Ganj serves as the starting point for the trek. The town is well-connected by road to various cities, making it easily accessible for trekkers.

By Train

➔ There isn't a direct train route to reach the Triund Indrahar Pass Trek. The nearest major railway station is Pathankot Railway Station.

Day 1 - McLeod Ganj to Triund

Laka Got

  • Morning: Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the Dhauladhar range. Capture some beautiful photographs.
  • Late Morning: After breakfast, begin your trek from Triund to Laka Got, which is about 6 kilometers away and takes around 3-4 hours.
  • Afternoon: Reach Laka Got, set up camp, and enjoy lunch.
  • Evening: Spend the evening exploring the serene surroundings and have dinner at the campsite.

Day 3 - Laka Got to Indrahar Pass and Return

Laka Got

  • Early Morning: Wake up before dawn and start your trek to Indrahar Pass, which is approximately 5 kilometers from Laka Got. This part of the trek is challenging and requires an early start to avoid adverse weather conditions.
  • Morning: Reach Indrahar Pass and take in the breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Spend some time here.
  • Late Morning: Begin your descent back to Laka Got, where you'll have lunch.
  • Afternoon: Rest and relax at the campsite in Laka Got.
  • Evening: Enjoy a warm dinner and spend your last night camping in the mountains.

Day 4 - Laka Got to McLeod Ganj

  • Morning: After breakfast, start your trek from Laka Got to McLeod Ganj, covering the approximately 9-kilometer distance in about 4-5 hours.
  • Late Morning: Reach McLeod Ganj and freshen up.
  • Afternoon: Have lunch and explore McLeod Ganj. You can visit the local markets, monasteries, and enjoy some Tibetan cuisine.
  • Evening: Depart from McLeod Ganj, and travel back to your starting location or the nearest major city.
