By Train

There is no train link to Lakshadweep because it is an island 300 km off the coast of Kerala; nonetheless, Kochi has two important stations: Ernakulam and Ernakulam Junction (North and South stations). Reservation services are offered, with an emphasis on Ernakulam Junction, from Monday through Saturday.

It is advised to travel to Lakshadweep by ferry from Kochi.
