The trek starts from Hudsar and continues till one reaches a level of 2280 meters which is called Mani Mahesh. You can pass through the valley of flowers and complete it with the glacier of the lake.
Pir panjal mountain ranges and other sacred lakes await you in the course of the journey in the Himalayas. If one is traveling in August or September, there will be a sight of large religious ceremonies happening in this place.

Manimahesh trek Overview

This place is mostly visited by tourists because of the mix of natural vegetation. This spot is located 4080 meters above sea level. Pir Panjal mountain ranges stay close to this area.
Due to the presence of lake Mansarovar in Tibet, this place is religiously significant and considered holy. People come for pilgrimage in the months of September and August. This journey is known as Manimahesh yatra and the state government declared it as a state level pilgrimage.

Itinerary For Manimahesh trek

Day 1 - Delhi - Pathankot

Delhi

The first day, you will be arriving in Delhi and you can find the representatives with garlands
The next step is to reach Pathankot by 6 in the morning. One will be deparching to Pathankot by 9 PM that day.

Day 2 - Pathankot- chamba

Chamba

First of all you do refreshments and leave for Chamba by train.
Then you will be sent to the pre booked hotel and have some leisure.
The next thing you do is to explore Chamba. You can visit Laxmi narayan temple, known for heritage architecture.

Day 3 - Chamba-Bharmaur-Hudsar-Dancho

Bharmour

This is the third day of trekking and here starts the actual trekking.
Overnight stay is needed in Dancho because you will be having a 3 hours journey from Hussar.

Day 4 - Dancho- Mani mahesh

Mani mahesh

This day you will start the day with a very good breakfast and the destination is Manimahesh lake.
Then it is the time to explore the main places like ancient temples as well as sanctuaries.
The stay is near to the campsite and you can spot a wide range of animals.

Day 5 - Mani mahesh lake

This time you are completely free to spend yourself in the waters of Mani mahesh.
Camp site itself is your stay on the day and night and dinner will be provided.

Day 6 - Mani mahesh lake - Dancho

Dancho

This is also a worry less pace where you can enjoy the descent and take a break.
After trekking down to Dancho, Night will be spent in campsite.

Day 7 - Dancho- Hudsor- Chamba

Chamba

This day is meant to be trekking to Hudsar.
After having the Breakfast from the camp,You will go to Hudsar and then to chamba.
Dinner and stay will be provided in a hotel in Chamba.

Day 1 - Chamba- Delhi

Delhi

Here we begin the return journey.
After having the breakfast from Chamba, you will get the train from Pathankot and head off to Delhi.
