Saptarishi Kund Trek is a tough Himalayan trek at 4421 meters. The glacial lake is half a kilometer long, dark bluish, and the source of Yamuna River. Surrounded by rocky glaciers.

Saptrishi Lake holds great significance as it was a site where 7 sages performed penance in ancient times. 

The trek also features the renowned Yamunotri temple, along with various hot water springs like the prominent Surya Kund. Pilgrims cook rice and potatoes in the springs as 'Prashad'.
